So far -- sounds like some good games have occured.
lots and lots of scrimmages going on between teams of various age groups and levels.
Great to see that. Boys scrimmaging girls, DA scrimmaging older teams, NPL scrimmaging DA, SCCL scrimmaging ECNL and DA sides
I like the NASA 05 bracket also -- a few DA teams sprinkled in there with other higher level teams.
Still don't understand how DA teams are allowed to play 2 full games in a day in preseason, but whatever. I guess its because its not 2 DA teams playing each other. I won't obsess over it.
A lot to look forward to this season.
How does SCCL work out and does it continue to run smoothly.
How is the level of play.
What happens in the spring for the post season events for NPL and SCCL.
Does SCCL expand? Does NPL expand? Do the 2 different but similar leagues better align themselves as a promotional/relegation system?
Look for some extremely competitive local BOYS DA games. And from the forumites: Besides AU, sounds like we need to watch for example Concordes u17s, UFAs 04s, UFA u12s and I'm sure a handful of others will step up. Many strong teams across the board. Then outside the city, does the ISL 05 continue to dominate.
For Girls DA look for Tophat to continue to be in class by itself, and will be interesting to see what happens in year 2 for UFA. Wouldn't it be wild if tophat left girls DA next year, and only UFA was left as the only girls DA in town.
For Girls ECNL - I'm assuming Concorde will dominate the leauge
I hate to say, I really no very little about the boys ecnl other than some teams traveling a lot.
