Great rip off!! I mean solid name! I like it. And thank goodness it’s not another United. MLS should have stopped with DC and should have NEVER let Blank use United for Atlanta after Minnesota was already using it for years before their MLS days.

I am conflicted. I hate MLS for suppressing lower league pro soccer, and opportunity yet I am an MLS season ticket holder.
I think the idea of a fully funded academy for the best local players is awesome. It is just a shame that the number of “owner operators” is constrained to billionaires and certain zip codes.
Congrats to Miami once they eventually rob a community to build a stadium.

I was extremely naive when it came to the Atlanta academy. I didn’t expect kids to come from all over the country and now the world so quickly. I foolishly assumed we had enough local talent to support the “program”

It is awesome. Soccer is like a storm brewing.
It’s just a shame that it is so suppressed. EVERY domestic youth soccer club should have a first team. Imagine if clubs could spend money on themselves rather than resorting to buying a piece of the pie...

I saw the Vint article too! Pesky Visa issues! Good to have the kid come to the Five Stripes.
