Does anyone know if there have been any local NTC sessions yet this season? Girls or boys?

I know of the 2004s(U15s) and the 2005s(U14s) boys. Have not confirmed the 2006s(U13s). I believe the 2005s and 2006s play on the 10th of October at the AU training grounds. Not sure if it is across the age groups, but the 2005s have no AU player listed and will instead be playing the current AU 2005 team as a whole.

Does anyone know the number of boys from each club other than AU for the 2005s? The 2006?

From the list I saw there are no current AU players on the list. Are you sure he's still at AU? There is a kid on the list who was at AU but is no longer there. Also, I don't think that makes much sense considering the NTC group is playing the entire 2005 AU team. I highly doubt they would pull one single, solitary kid from the current AU 2005 team and have him play against his own team along with the other non-AU kids picked for the NTC. Unless they are thinking of making him the captain of the NTC team. But then again I could be wrong...

I don't know him personally to tell you whether its a typo or an error.

There have been no NTCs for girls yet this fall. I believe the next NTC or as the US Soccer federation is now referring to it as, YNT Identification Center for the 2004/2005 girls is November 13th, 2018

There are 18 boys from the 2005 year. Officially all the local DA clubs are represented, including AU, except LSA for sure and AFC maybe(will explain later). AFU was the only non-DA club represented. Collectively, the NTC team goes against the current AU 2005/U14s next Wednesday the 10th, at the AU Training Grounds. Breakdown 1 - AFU 1 - AU/AFC 3 - SSA 3 - UFA 4 - NASA 6 - CF To clarify, the AU listed player is NOT an AU player, but an AFC player. We should give credit where it's due. I still think he should be captain of the team tho

The February 17th, 2019 NTC(YNT ID Center) will be held at Fowler Park at Noon. It will be the current 2005 AU team vs a mix of non-AU 2005s.

FG, do you have the club breakdown or have invitations not been sent yet? Kind of tone deaf of them to hold it in the middle of a 4-day weekend (was rescheduled from the previous Wednesday). I guess soccer families can really never make any sort of family plans.

I guess soccer families can really never make any sort of family plans. Unfortunately, I don't as of now, my contacts about the date and location are within the AU community so they would not get the list either way. I'm not 100% sure it has gone out, but will check with likely candidates to find out. I do know in past NTCs US Soccer tends to release the list about two weeks before the event itself.

I only recognize 2 players as Goalies. One on the 2004s is from UFA and the one I recognize on the 2005s is from CF. There are 4 - 03s on the 2004 NTC/YNT (3 from UFA and 1 from CFS)

On Sunday the u15 killed UFA 7-1.

Both NTCs for the 2005s and 2004s took place as scheduled today at UFA's Fowler park because the AU Training Grounds were in use for the GA Cup
2005s kicked off first at 10am, with the current AU 2005 U14 team, playing against all the best NON-AU players. Played 3 scrimmages/periods. I was able to confirm that 8 of the 9 boys out and unable to play for AU were starters. Yet, even with a shell of their full team the AU team was able to handily win 4 zip and shut out the NTC All-Stars. In the first period the All-Stars had a couple of goo chances but this game was truly dominated by AU and could easily have been 6, 7, 8 zip, if the AU strikers had not kept missing wide open shots.
2004s kicked off afterwards at about noon. Unlike the 2005s, the 2004s were formed into two teams and scrimmaged each other on a shortened field 10 v 10. I believe the final score was 3-3. Every so often you would see a few boys moved from one team to another, etc but otherwise a typical NtC session. Finished just after 1pm
Thankfully there were no serious injuries playing in the rain and everyone was able to walk way. The scouts tended to "jot things down" primarily in the first 20 minutes of both sets of scrimmages. Next on the agenda, is the selection of the 2005 East Coast Mini-Camp for April. Good-luck to the 2005s...FG

Sounds like scrimmaging the AU teams isn’t a good strategy especially if they should have won by 7 or 8 goals.

and how does US Soccer plan a NTC the same weekend as the generations adidas qualifications? Surely US soccer and MLS talk to each other....
Tells me that NTC is just to say "We are hosting NTC's 4 times a year looking for talent....."

Is there an east coast mini camp for the 04s? As of today, only the U14s(2005s) will have a mini-camp. The mini-camp model is for the youngest Nat'l Team U14 BNT/GNT. The girls begin this next year for the 2006s. The U15s(2004) already have a semblance of a team and are already doing National Team Camps. They just had a team camp a few weeks ago...FG
