Yea. Been following him for years
The fact that he is at UFA and they don’t advantage of his skill set is shocking.
Meant to post the recent interview with him on the coaching journey. He gives a great interview.

I’m curious if he is able to translate this stuff onto the practice field for the kids (and convincing parents there is a purpose to his work).
Some who analyze video and break down games clearly have deep understanding but can’t translate that to coaching kids. So I’m just curious how AO is perceived in youth soccer. I don’t even know what age and sex he coaches.
As a 47 year old man, [edit: I find...] his video and writing is [to be] really good. I just wonder if UFA is using his strengths when it comes to the kids.

Did you mean you or him? He coaches boys U14 and U13

Thanks for pointing that out. I edited my post to try to be more clear. Lol its all good. Adin is a nice guy, does his knowledge all translate to the field? Idk. He's not as vocal as some parents would like him to be, he could do a bit more. The kids like him, hes young and full of ideas. Some parents like him, some don't... He may leave in the spring for a really good opportunity in another state but its not 100%

It is interesting to observe how coaches can and can’t manage to earn “buy-in” from players (and their parents). In my experience, some coaches were great at communicating to players and parents. Without that ability, parents only see wins and losses, and mistakes - and a coach’s good work can be lost. Coaches who can’t communcate with players and parents, even if they’re Pep Guardiola, seem doomed in pay-to-play youth soccer. As usual, I’ve gone off on a tangent. Thanks for the feedback on this coach. I hope his knowledge and ability is appreciated.

Some people tend to think that's how all coaching should be. His win/loss record is not bad. And as far as communicating, he writes very long emails to the parents explaining why he does what he does along with links and videos. All parents can't be pleased no matter who the coach is.

Wow- that’s refreshing. Sounds like he’s doing what all coaches should be doing. His clips are very informative and I agree that it sounds like UFA is lucky to have him

Wish more coaches would cut out some of the screaming and constantly talking during games and let the kids play . I realize it’s needed sometimes but some go overboard . My sons team played a UFA/Norcross team and they had a short coach with a British accent who talked/screamed the entire game and that was part of the reason why we won because his players were distracted by him yelling.
