So Concorde is getting sued, yet again...this time for discrimination...by a former white player. The suit was filed in US District Court, Northern District of Georgia, Case No. 18 cv 03305 LLM.

A former white player? What color is the player now? Normally, when a discrimination suit is filed in the Federal Court system, it is predominately filed by an African American. In this particular case, it was a former player who was Caucasian.

Right we get all that but what did she turn into? Obviously she turned into a more mature individual then a certain 55 year old man.

They filed a lawsuit without a lawyer. Girl from u15 ecnl team back 3 years ago claims she didn't play bc she was discriminated as a white kid by JH. That appears to be the CF ECNL team that got to the ECNL final four. So, kind of hard to argue playing black kids over white kids when your that successful. (Her dates don't line up completely but JH has had the 01s every year (except DA last year).)

Forgive my ignorance, is there precedent for filing lawsuits for discrimination in youth sports like this?

I dont know who is 55 but that allegation would be really hard to prove without some really good evidence. There would have to be something written or recorded. Considerring how subjective soccer is...

It reads like gossip and sour grapes. Like poster said above, coaching decisions are completely subjective and when you couple that with the great success of that age group, it seems like the coach subjectively made pretty good team choices.

I am certainly no legal expert, how does one go about proving this? Short of some actual documents from the coach, isn’t everything involving this case heresay?

Came into Concorde as Girls Director. The man couldn't direct a horse to water. He was told to leave Colorado Rush because of his "friendliness" with many female players he was coaching. In fact, his wife divorced him because of text messages she found to players on his phone. Hope Concorde and Gregg finally wake up and see that this guy brings zero to their club. He's a cancer.

That's just it, you cant prove ability and future potential. You see these lawsuits all the time- kid gets cut, parents sue for emotional distress and monetary damages because of lost college scholarship opportunities, these cases rarely if ever are ruled in favor of the plaintiff
