Darren Eales is on 92.9 now, he's upset with FCC for announcing the trade before AU could announce it out of respect to Greg

I like Garza as he brought a high work rate and seemed to always send in quality balls into the box each and every game.
And the plot thickens. I don't know what all goes behind scenes, but I would think there should be some sort of agreement discussed beforehand about announcements and etc. If anything was broken then I would think twice before doing any business matters again.

The ugly side of pro soccer. If the early reporting is true, then this is classless and very unprofessional. FCC clearly has a lot of work to do to realize that some of their decisions have real impact. Many deals are done that involve a lot of moving parts. It goes without saying that you keep it under wraps and coordinate releasing information at the appropriate time. Yes, there is pressure to feed the frenzy of your fans, but remember soccer players are a fickle group. The remember crap like this when they are in the driver's seat down the line...

Darren Eales used the word "pissed" to Mike Conti today, Atlanta United wanted to publicize the Garza trade first out of respect for him but FCC publicized it first.

On the local news as well yesterday. Why was it not secured at the offices or with Blank somewhere?? Its standard practice for players to take the cup out on the town or to various events. The Stanley Cup is one that comes to mind too.

Thanks for sharing. MLS is designed to protect the owners at the expense of the players.

On another note Greg Garza was invited to the USMNT camp in January, much deserved and long overdue.
