Anyone have experience with this outfit compared to other routes like simply going to UGA or Clemson elite residential camps.
Exact ID camps try to tout their coaches attending but not sure if this is simply another way to grab money from crazy soccer parents

They always bring in a ton of college coaches (they pay fairly well and help with travel expenses) but the level of the camps is all over the place.

know someone who went to the one at lakepoint a month or so back.. said that the level of play wasn't great. That one was also under some crappy weather, so that may have played a part.

We haven’t done them, but our kids have been invited. We asked our friends about them, and the response was that the feedback was good for their daughter. They weren’t worried about the level of competition—just the fact that you get a good write-up about areas of strength and areas for improvement.
Personally, we don’t do them because we have heard (and seen) that the money is better spent going to camps at the college your player would like to attend.

Did not attend any of those high cost camps, and instead opted for specific schools. As you may have read, turned out great for us this year.

My young player received an invitation to one of these. The quote for a 2.5 day camp is $570.

Money grab. Did the invite have your son's name on it? I emailed them last year and asked them who did they recognize as an elite player. I said you sent it to me (parent) and I don't play soccer, so who were they inviting. They did not have an answer, so I told them to take me off their list.

We get this invite all the time, seems expensive. Don't know anyone who has actually done it. Looks like a $$ grab.

It's a money grab and in my opinion not worth it. Nothing works better than going to a camp hosted by the school(s) you're interested in going to. It gives you a chance to informally see the coach/coaches at work along with their assistants in their environment(informal visit/tour). Additionally it gives you informal access to the coach to showcase who you are and what you're capable of and finally shows your interest and commitment to the program. If you're lucky to be on a team at a club that attends showcases, you then have a way to stand out when these coaches attend these showcases. When you reach out to let coaches and colleges know where you'll be playing they can make the connection. I've seen that strategy work much better and yield favorable results. My two cents...FG

I've received exactly 8 emails from them this week alone, politely asked them to stop spamming me

I doubt anything has changed since the Dec 28 article.

Just thought it was interesting -- apparently the camp will be at Atlanta sports city......I guess they will be playing on a really uneven dirty surface....

Probably some promises made there...only 6 months to get a functioning soccer complex up and running from dirt fields.
I like the idea of the Exact id camp, bring in a lot of kids, bring in a lot of coaches, let them show off and mingle. Gives a lot of exposure for both that they might not otherwise have gotten.
