Definitely looked better last night. Good effort from most of the side. Barco turned it on, Josef finished, Parkhurst did well in yet another position, Gressel was Gressel. I really like Nagbe's quiet but smart work rate - he's a guy you might not notice but will surely miss if he's not there. Pity showed some flashes - get him a goal and he'll have his confidence back. And LGP didn't do anything stupid...

Regardless of how bad SKC is/was - we looked much more true to form in the 2nd half.
Barco getting pulled away couldn’t come at a worse time - dude finally is getting into the groove.
Will be interesting to see if Carleton gets called up - now would be the perfect time for him to step and contribute more. Heard he was sick last week so didn’t make either the 2 or first team roster. Word is there are list of kids with injuries that would have been call ups for the 20s, so he might be moving up the depth chart.
And at least pity hit shots in the relative direction of the goal. Man he is all left foot and Barco is all right foot. Neither is amphibious (Charles Shackleford reference)

No Brek Shea and look how well we play 🤣 I almost feel bad for the guy. He's a decent player but this doesn't seem like the right system for him.

If Barco’s was the “signature” transfer and this was his first year, this town would be madly in love with him. (I admit I wasn’t a fan last year.) Time to let it go... plenty of room on the MVP train.

Almiron was not amphibious for sure.

AU currently sits at 5th place in the Eastern Conference from being in last place a few weeks back. Where are the FdB detractors at!?

AU currently sits at 5th place in the Eastern Conference from being in last place a few weeks back. Where are the FdB detractors at!? I am glad they have turned it around. It appears the players are feeling more comfortable in this system. I have been impressed with some of the creating that Josef is doing. I wish he would get his clinical finishing back. If he can do both, that would be amazing! Happy to see Pity starting to get comfortable as well. That was a nice goal!

Shea isn't my favorite player either but I think booing your own player as he comes on is pretty bad...

No comment on Shae as agree not cool to boo your own players though I am not a fan. Amazing to see though as the system has taken hold (though adjusted from the start of the season), some players thriving while others not. Defensively we are still very shaky. Prefer the brain of Parkhurst at CB vs LGP who is a liability at any moment (though does shine at some points).

Shea is doing just fine. As I've said in other places, SOMEONE has to be the worst player on the field, and Shea isn't even that every game. It's not Shea's fault he was signed by AU, it's not Shea's fault FdB continues to play him, and it's not Shea's fault that some ignorant fans boo him before he even takes the field.
Let the man play.
Also, by all accounts, he's a really awesome stand-up guy off the field with fans.
