Certainly as they get older you need to go South for ECNL/SCCL This may have been the case in the past but it's not true any more (especially in regards to the younger ages). The central practice locations are actually closer to North.
I agree, visit whatever club you're interested in to see which is your best fit.

I should not have capitalized south. I know they have a centralized location now.

Did anyone attend the UFA DA ID Camps this weekend on Friday/Sunday? What were your thoughts, likes, dislikes? What did the numbers look like, etc...? Thx I got there late but from what I did see on Sunday was a good turn out of boys. All three age groups has majority of UFA players. My counts could be way off because I was looking from a distance. For 05 Boys, Looked to be about 40 + total players. Talked to a Dad of the current DA 05's and he said there were a hand full of really good non UFA players including some GKs. Almost the same for 03/04 and they probably had 40 - 50 players but couldn't tell because they were in the middle of the new Turf fields and seemed like a mix of 02/01 in between. There were a lot of new GKs for 03. RD was subbing in and out a different GK every 10 - 15 min. I think the majority of non UFA players were 03. Hard to tell. I think there were just as many players for the 02/01 boys as the rest of the other groups. Although I only paid attention to the 03/04 group. All three age groups were scrimmaging from 10 - 11 while I was there. Seemed to be more 03 players compared to 04. You could see some of the 03's had size on the 04's but skill didn't look obviously different. There were some good 04 boys. I'm curious if RD will stack the team with mostly 03 players like the current team of 90% + 2002 players.

Great Question, not sure for 2019/2020 season but currently, the Premier team (NPL) plays out of Fowler and the SCCL team plays out of Norcross. With the addition of SCCL Premier that will be another team to roster. Which location? Still, no idea? Everything will change once the "UFA Announcements" come out, hopefully before tryouts Even the coaching predictions are not out yet.

Also looking to see which club to go to. Anyone have any info on the following ecnl coaches? GSA= judson hamby, rusty staggs, campbell chapman and drew prentice AFU= vince hayes, stephen george, nadine kezeboo, domenic martelli thank you GSA - I like Drew Prentice, good coach. He's a holdover from old Dacula aka GSA North. He is in some type of leadership/DOC type of role. Campbell is primarily Girls ECNL and I think he runs ECNL for the club and may even be on the ECNL Board. Good successful coach, likes bigger n faster players and oh yeah coaches you to be physical. AFU - Really like Stephen, good coach, quiet but gets his point across. I know girls sometimes don't like yellers. Domenic(Dom) is one to know if you want to go to college, be his BFF since he knows a whole lot of folks in the college ranks. Guessing you are looking at ECNL but I don't see Mirza. He's another very good coach. He's the new DOC so don't know if he's still going to be coaching or dropping one team or all of his teams to manage the club. Finally, Nadine. I cannot say enough about Nadine. She's tough, fair and will get you to dig deep to pull the best soccer version of you contained within yourself. Some don't like her directness. However, the players love her and love working with her because they see the results. Hope that helps and good luck...

Not sure what the "Announcement" is or if that would impact anything relative to this group of players, unless the announcement is Boys ECNL.
