Curious to see what other clubs have said about a Spring Season for SCCL u15 and up.
During the end of Spring our coach was confirming commitments from players to play SCCL next Spring. Either playing high school and club, or just club. Based on comments it was assumed that this year SCCL would form a Spring Season for u15 and up. Even heard mention that they would try to do a Summer league next year.
I asked UFA to confirm if there would be a Spring Season and was told that they would not know until December or January. Based on club fees for the year looks like it was the same full year costs as last year. So parents are paying for a Spring Season.
Curious what other's have heard from Concorde, GSA, NASA and SSA. Also for u15 's were your fees the same (or close) to what they were last year?

Probably waiting to see what Georgia Soccer does as they are bringing back a High School aged Spring season in Spring 2020. It won’t be traditional teams and from what we were told more could be all small sided, similar to the futsal leagues.

Not SCCL but spring related, I saw our club's U14G ECNL fall schedule and it currently has all 20 games completed before Christmas, meaning no spring games (U13-U14 played locals in the spring this past year). Are the rest of the clubs seeing the same?

I wonder if the plan is to make ECNL a fall-only league overall aside from national events.
My kid is a trap year, so next year at U15 we will be looking for something to do in the Spring aside from middle-school ball.

Regarding U15 Spring, since parents have paid for a full year of soccer, why not do what GA Soccer does and just have the clubs cobble together a spring U15 league that doesn't affect fall rankings. Clubs can have kids from all levels that make the team (for those who aren't busy with HS soccer).

I've noticed our ECNL schedule is loaded with a lot of games Sept thru mid Oct. Was told that is because Florida plays HS soccer in the fall. We will put together local scrims for Nov.

The ECNL schedules always come out that way. Then clubs edit so that U13 - U14 play the local and AL games in the spring. By this point your club should have the updated schedule set.

Very Interesting. Our U13 & U14 were told they would be moved. Also, the November 30th game v Concorde has already been communicated to us that it is being held on 9/8 but that is listed as 11/30 on the ECNL link. Perhaps not enough timely communication between GA Clubs and ECNL?

Clubs can have kids from all levels that make the team (for those who aren't busy with HS soccer). If I recall correctly, your club (AFU) allows "orphaned U15" players (those not yet in High School) to practice with the U14 ECNL team so they can continue to train while the rest of the U15 team is playing High School soccer. I know I have seen it there in the past, so you might want to check with the coach so they are aware and can arrange that for you in the spring.

As to the question about all the games on the schedule for U13 and U14 showing now as all being played in the fall. Based on my experience that will change. The clubs work through the schedules and push 6-10 of those games to the spring so the younger kids aren't playing every weekend in the fall and then have no games in the spring.

It may very well change, but last year the local games were scheduled for the spring from the get-go, so this year is different.
They may be trying to do the travel as a club thing from U13-19
