Three kids, two clubs, one great, one decent and one absolute POS.
One club does ask for feedback and did end of season reviews. The other club does but the POS coach doesn’t care or do anything since he believes he’s a soccer god.

This is definitely the time to do or get a review from your coach. It may help answer some of your lingering questions regarding the development/non-development of your kid. I always found these very helpful for my kids. It's also a "cheat-sheet" for tryouts and gives you an idea hopefully of how and where your coach sees your kid. Finally, it's a great source to use as a guide on what you need to work on in the off-season.
Piggy-back, what kinds of questions or metrics do you think the coach should give or should you be asking? Or not?
- Don't complain about playing time? - Do ask about what your kid should work on? - Don't complain or belly-ache about other kids? - Do ask to play in other positions if your kid is interested?
