I only watched about 3/4 of the game but was surprised at how El Salvador seemed to control the game.
It's time for Berhalter to really figure out who his top 18 are and go with them. These team has to get comfortable playing together.
I feel like Sargant has to be a complimentary piece vs the man up top.
You have to get the win against Canada on Sunday!

Very disappointing performance last night. That is a game that the US has to win. If the USA is really a top 10 ranked FIFA team, it has to win those games on the road against lesser competition.

Anyone else find it Ironic that Hugo Perez who was doing absolutely great with US youth national teams then got fired for reasons never really explained.. now manages the El Salvador team?
I do wonder when GB plans to play our best team if not in WCQ.

I assume that last night was a calculation error where Burkhalter thought he could win without playing all of the best to save some people for the game against Canada.

It was obvious we missed an attacking player like Pulisic last night and while I don't think Ream should start, not sure if it would've made a difference in the scoreboard if Brooks or Zimmerman took his place.
Tim Weah is also out due to an injury. Could've used him too.

Bold of you to assume he has it figured out. Maybe I’m not giving him enough credit. However, the US should win with its “B” or “C” team. |
