Nice blog. I remember the Atlanta Chiefs but I think it was the 1979 version since I was only 9 at that time and not the early 70's original team. They played indoor not outdoor and it was at The Omni. I think Pele played for the NY team and remember them coming here. They might've been called the Cosmos then as they are now. Creative Loafing ran a feature article on the original Atlanta Chiefs last year with interviews from players on that team and it was excellent. I'll look online now and see if it's out there. It's also a great read.
