From an email....
To all,
I have received questions about the Seeding Tournament and I will try to answer them for all to see.
All teams will play 3 games-two on Saturday March 28 and 1 on Sunday March 29. The teams finishing 1-3 in the South will play the 1-3 in the North. 4-6 will play 4-6, 7-9 will play 7-9 and 10-12 will play 10-12 (except in the Girls where it is a little different). All games will be at the MeSA complex in Greenville, SC. Right now, the schedule lists teams and their places in the North and South. That will be changed to team names next weekend after all games are played.
The Seeding Tournament is mainly a mandatory Showcase of like-ability teams. However, the USYS National League qualifier will be determined from the 1-3 v 1-3 teams group. Teams are responsible for referee fees, just like the first 11 games of the season.
Next year, there will be one top division, the RPL East. RPL East will be made up of the 1-6 placed South teams and the 1-6 pl aced North teams. That will be a 12 team round robin league. The 7-10 placed teams in the North and South will qualify for the 1st Division. Each state can up to 2 teams to the 1st Division. If we have a full number of teams, there will be a North 1st Division and a South 1st Division. Teams 10-12 will not qualify but may be added to the 1st Division by their state association. The State Associations will determine how they choose the extra teams.
I hope this helps-safe travels and good luck!

The email neglected this important aspect:
"until the rules change again" They are seemingly capricious with the set up. I don't mind, I never get my heart set on a final outcome though. Neither should anyone else.

Slight change of subject but does anyone know how many U14 RPL teams get automatic spot in regionals? Is it just the 1st place teams or top 2?
