Now that the seeding round is complete, can someone tell us what it means moving forward?

No, they said this year winner didn't get the regional spot. It says 1st place for RPL east in gotsoccer but thats it.

That chart is not correct, it shows all teams as if everyone played a true tournament. Top 3 from the East South (UFA, GSA, TH) and top 3 from the North South (TN North, CASL and Triangle) played each other and the winner of that got the National League bid.
Creeks Soccer who is listed as first...ended 5th in the season, they were fighting for 4th place for seedings in the fall.
They will be playing ECNL in the fall and are saying that they will also be playing NL, some of which are the same events. They cannot give the spot to another team like some have in the past because the league has said that they will enforce the 9 player rule. NL is only a couple of showcase events during the year in which ECNL teams are also invited.

Should be interesting to see how GSA and AFU handle both ECNL and NL/RPL next fall. I assume they will just double roster a lot of players to make sure they still qualify to play in the NL/RPL. I guess this idea kind of backfired for USYS as they now have ECNL clubs taking up spots that previously went to non-ECNL clubs at U14.
Seems kind of unfair that UFA didn't also get an NL spot after winning the league and beating GSA during the season.

They wont play RPL and ECNL at the same time, I would think its impossible to juggle two full leagues, RPL will also be enforcing the 9 player rule and there is no way that GSA red can compete at the same level as their top team. I dont think it has ever been done in the past anyway, also seems U14 seems like the only time they can play in NL, the rules state that in order to compete in NL u also have to compete in RPL and go to state cup, its my understanding the ECNL teams (u14 and up) dont go to state cup because they dont compete in RPL to begin with. Reality is GSA doesnt need the NL spot, they can attend the same events as an ECNL team. It does seem unfair for UFA team, just need to try to get it the longer way, by winning regionals in May.

My understanding is that an RPL/NL roster can have something like 25 players on it, so surely they can double-roster, as ECNL is a separate league entirely. Then they can play the ECNL players when there is not a conflict and just play the second team when there is no conflict. You're right that the current second teams can't compete at that level, but more good new players may tryout at these clubs knowing that they can fall back on NL/RPL if they don't make the ECNL team. Personally I think the RPL First Division or whatever they are calling it that AFU is qualified for will be less competitive than Athena A and more travel.

i believe its 22 players...so i guess they will double roster as much as they can. Whatever new players they get will have to be very good in order to be able to compete in SRPL.
The 1st division will bring up top teams from each state so it should still be more competitive that Athena A, I guess AFU will have to decide if they want to do that or just plain ECNL. I'm pretty sure CF Elite will win Athena A and they will be in the same position.
