Region III released the master schedule for the fall (see link) with no explanation. Does anyone know more about this? For example, the top part of the page is obviously the "big" region a.k.a. SRPL. The lower portion is where it gets confusing - what is this 1st Division stuff? Is it the PLE like this past year? But this year teams played in both PLE and SRPL - doesn't look that way as this sheet is laid out. Any insights are much appreciated. regioniii.usyouthsoccer.org/assets/1/15/2015%20Fall%20SRPL%20EAST%20Girls.pdf

RPL East will be made up of the 1-6 placed South teams and the 1-6 placed North teams. That will be a 12 team round robin league. The 7-10 placed teams in the North and South will qualify for the 2nd Division.
That list will change thouh because AFU & GSA will not play SRPL since they will be in ECNL

SoccerMom: That appears to only be for the U14s. What about the older age groups where there isn't a North and South grouping listed?

thats because they only broke it down North and South for U13. Once you go to U14 SRPL/PLE its just 1. For the older age groups it looks like it depends how you do during the season to see where you end up, if youre top 6 then u stay if youre bottom then u drop to the 1st division and play with the teams that got promoted as well, if you do bad there again u get dropped back to select. There was an earlier thread where dready explained it better than me gasoccerforum.com/thread/764/spring-2015-premier-league-information

I'm still confused about the older age groups U(U15 and up). The recently released schedule shows 2 leagues; SRPL Premier East and 1st Division East. Am I correct that if you are in the SRPL Premier East you do not also play in the 1st division East? If so does that mean the top teams will only play in a single 8 team league with a 7 game Fall season? In years past if you were in the Regional Premier League, you could also player in the larger Premier League East giving you more games in the fall.

Im not sure how it works in the older age groups as im new to all of this. For the rising U14's, The Premier is considered the top division and the 1st Division is considered the 2nd division and teams do not play each other.

It sure would be nice if they would explain all this on their website wouldn't it?

All the information we get has been thru direct emails from the league to the team, so I'm sure you will be receiving something soon. I think there has been a lot of changes lately
