I'm thinking grass. Huge football field, much needed in that area.

article is lacking details for sure! it says "facility" - will be interesting. Would be nice to have a championship surface for UFA-Norcross to utilize when necessary, but given Gwinnett has some unwritten rule about an organization using multiple parks at once, unlikely. but i'm sure we will find out more soon.
still seems odd to me given how bad the fields are currently in Gwinnett and the need for more turf at many complexes.
sorry sidenote -- I amazed at journalism or lack there of these days. no details in the article, no address, no links to google maps etc, you would think the proposal would be a public document as well.

And by soccer association they mean UFA Norcross??? Theres already a turf field not far from there at Cemetery Rd, but it would be nice if they built one in new soccer complex, Gwinnett closes Pinckneyville at the first chance of any rain.

I'm guessing UFA will be the ones managing it. It's my old High School stadium so it will be cool to see it used since they demolished the school last year.

Wow...that shows you how long it has been since I've been there! I attended NHS when it was there many moons ago.
