If you had it to do all over again (or are currently in the middle of it all) ...
Please discuss the pros and cons of the various clubs for the academy age U9-U12 GIRLS in NE Atlanta Area
Especially interested in AFU vs. Concorde Central vs. Concorde North vs. UFA vs. TopHat and any others in that "geographical" area that I may not be aware of.
How are individual players trained and how are teams developed.
Level of competition/Reputation through the state
Depth of Players in the age groups.
Preparedness of girls to move on to Select Soccer.
Coaches who "get" that age girls.
I would prefer to pick 1 club for the next 4 years not try 4 clubs over the next four years :-)
Thanks for your wise wisdom and sage advice.

That's a pretty big area. Honestly, for academy I'd stick with what's close to home. Let her be with friends and classmates and keep the drive short. Any of the clubs you mentioned would be fine for academy.

I agree with fan, for academy stick close to home...you will get to know the other clubs and players as the years go by and you will be able to make a decision on your own of what works for your daughter. Its hard to say one club is the same way for every team for every age group...it depends on the coaches they get, it also depends on the group of kids/parents around you. Coaches get rotated and one may be better for your kid than another...just go with the flow for now and everything will fall into place. Any of those clubs will be fine.

agree with whats been said. we all can throw out tons of pros and cons on each club listed but at the end of the day, all are quality clubs. in my opinion that is the great thing about atlanta, options options and options. enjoy the ride and if you have multiple kids, location and convenience plays a huge role because they are u8,u9 etc.
the vast majority of folks in my opinion are happy at the clubs you listed and wouldn't do anything different.
