I know that they are seeded from how they finished in the fall. I noticed that there are (16) accepted teams in the U13G, of which (7) have an * in the Sinc site saying that they are seeded. When will the actual seeding be posted? ie. 1,2,3...etc

If the seeding is based on where they ended up at end of fall Athena? TH 1, AFU 2, UFA 3, GSA 4, etc. They show 12 teams from A and 4 from B. So 16.
1 v 16, 2v 15 , 3 v 14, 4 v 13 etc.
Then you use the format on the state tourney page for 16 teams.
TH (1) AFU (2) UFA (3) GSA (4)
Concode Black (8) NASA (7) SSA (6) Concorde Elite (5)
UFA Norcross (9) Lady Chiefs(10) TH Navy (11) Inter-ATL (12)
Ambush (16) Roswell (15) Dacula (14) GSA-Red (13)
This is how I see it. Maybe I'm way off who knows ;-)

If your talking about soccer in college rankings those seedings have nothing to do with state cup etc. it's for SIC rankings only.

My kid will be in u16b, in the play-in games. With 23 teams, are there multiple play-in games for the teams that end up qualifying for round robin, or is there just one round with more teams having to qualify through play-in games? They may have to include as high up as the 11th seed.
do they go like
11 vs 22 for 11th seed
12 vs 21 for 12th seed
13 vs 20 for 13th
14 vs 19 for 14th
15 vs 18 for 15th
16 vs 17 and winner plays 23 seed for 16th
Or something like
12 v 23 for 12th seed
13 v 22 for 13th
14 v 21 for 14th
15 v 20 for 15th
16 v 19
17 v 18
then winner of 16v19 plays winner of 17v18 for 16th seed?
It seems like at least one team will have to play 2 games to get in. Forgive any ignorance; I'm new to this tournament. Just hoping his team makes it through play-in games.

Play-In Games State Cup round-robin groups are played with an even number of teams. Divisions for round-robin play will have: • 16 Teams • 12 Teams • 8 Teams • 4 Teams Teams, based on their fall season results, are seeded and will play-into a Division if necessary. Example 1: 20 teams apply to a Division. The Division will take 16 teams in round-robin. Play-in games are as follows: Seed 16 v Seed 17 (playing for Seed 16 slot) Seed 15 v Seed 18 (playing for Seed 15 slot) Seed 14 v Seed 19 (playing for Seed 14 slot) Seed 13 v Seed 20 (playing for Seed 13 slot) |
