trolling are a disgrace. The posters on the "original forum" have done nothing to you and they should be allowed to trade information and enjoy their forum without your harassment. I am sorry this forum has not really panned out, but that is no reason to try to hurt the "original forum."

Since I have been the target of most of the attacks at the old board, I thought I would take a moment and officially state that I don't post there anymore, and haven't in a very long time (none in the last 10 days, and very little at all since this place opened up).
Also, this isn't my forum. I'm not in charge of it, and don't want to be. SoccerAdmin is doing a good job, and I support this board wholeheartedly. I contribute to it as much as I can.
There's no need to say much more, but I felt like it would be good to be clear on my position in a place where I can prove I am who I am. Someone even posted under the name jash over at network54. That (no way to protect your identity) is just one of the reasons that forum needs to go.
I'll link to this post from the old forum, but I don't expect a positive or useful response there. I don't mind someone over there guessing wrong, but I didn't want anyone here thinking I'm any part of the mess that continues over there.

Good golly. I had blocked this person, so no idea what they said. Just went to look at old joint (aka cesspool of mostly incomprehensible gibberish), and things have really deteriorated over there. If that is even possible.
Jash, so sorry you have become a magnet for the group psychosis over there. Just terrible. They (or someone) is obsessed. If people stop giving that place hits it will become irrelevant, maybe go away. The people who want to provide useful information, obtain useful information, and share interesting stories will come here. I think it has been working brilliantly so far.
I just had my last visit to the Network 54 site ever. I swear it right here, right now.

I did not see what they posted here because I had blocked that person, but I did see what they posted at the old joint and had apparently linked here in this thread. Although I am in favor of tolerance and letting the marketplace do its work, it seems to me this person earned their fate in this instance. |

rifle i agree, i received too many complaints and security warnings from other users. in the future i will be much more hesitant to pull the trigger, and like you said allow users to block the individual and ignore the poster. the people spoke and an example was made.

I had him/her blocked too, but if you just are looking at the board without being logged in your block doesn't work. Whoever they are their motives for posting here are not positive only trying to stir the pot with lies, bad language, and then linking it with the old foorum. Do we really want to have that kind of advertising to anyone who comes here looking at the board. It is like cancer it will spread just like over there. Fortunately we have the power to nip it in the bud before it gets out of control. This person is beyond being ignored working I believe. Admin I think you made the right call. I will say it, I was one of the ones who reported him I looked at all his posts none of them were positive. |
