Our club does not offer alternate training when the fields are too wet to play (which has resulted in just about half of our training sessions being cancelled this Spring.) Do other clubs that do not make accommodations offer partial refunds? Do the coaches get paid rain or shine? You may recall that I'm the parent who was complaining about a lack of games in the Fall -- Spring has been even worse. We have played 4 games this Spring, with 5 more scheduled.

Not saying this is your issue but I tried to look at your old threads, sometimes commitment from players on lower teams can be a lot less, so any practices that are not at the regular time/location are poorly attended because of other commitments etc.
That being said the coach should be making an effort to get your practices in and see if that's true. On concrete, parking lot, bike path etc. it's been a bad spring. Little worse than normal, but past few springs were like this.
We've used neighborhood fields a few times. When I say neighborhood fields I mean a large green space typical near the tennis courts/ park.

We have running/ conditioning weather permitting in parking lot, has them do foot drills with and without ball. Sometimes coach runs and talks sign them to bond. But my daughter is 14 may not happen with younger teams.

No attempts to make up anything....it's a U12 team. And no other coaches are making an attempt either? If others are and coach is willing see if your kid can attend their rainout sessions. |

Academy. I don't know what other teams are doing. I'm going to email the coach today and see if he has any ideas for this week, since I'm sure we will miss at least one o the two practices.

Try the local city gymnasiums. Usually available by the hour. It's volleyball season.. but it may be a possibilty.
