I only asked the profane posters that support this forum to stop harassing the Original Form. In support I posted a thread in which a supporter of this forum made very gross references. I did not lie, I did not insult anyone, and I was neither trolling nor profane - I have children who read the Original Forum and merely tried to protect them by asking supporters of this forum to stop making obscene, profane, disgusting posts on the Original Forum. None of that deserved being banned. It seems that your "thought police" could not accept my dissenting view.
While I believe your kind should be able to have its own forum and post amongst itself all it cares to, I do not believe that you have the right to harass others or post filth for children to read.

I'm not making judgment either way on your being banned. I am however a little curious...is it your opinion that those profane posts were indeed posted by true supporters of this forum? How can you be 100% sure that it wasn't a troll on the other forum trying to paint a bad image of the new forum members?

I post on both, I like both. I do question how you know someone on this forum is posting, as you say, obscene threads in the old forum. The original forum has been obscene for years...it didn't just start in the last 2 months.

If every poster on the old forum refrained from making obscene, profane, disgusting posts, this forum wouldn't have been necessary. Welcome to the site and I hope you'll join in the discussions.

The high signal to noise ratio on this site is quite welcome in my opinion. Personally, I like a bit of flavor and I have no aversion to trash talk or even salty language used just for fun.. But simple courtesy is always best when you are making a first impression, and some people are a bit sensitive. So keep it constructive and you should be fine.
If your kids read the old site, you have my condolences.
