I know there has been much discussion on this in the past, but now that we are into the final four for state cup -- what does it look like for rising u14/u15 rpl for fall 2015.
Is it 6 GA teams in each age group? Besides the current rpl teams, who gets the remaining spots in each age group??

For U14, looks like its the 4 that already qualified (GSA, UFA, TH, AFU) plus 2 more, which I would assume are the top two from Athena A in Spring 2015 (as the above 4 are also the final 4 at state cup) - so CF and SSA.

Do you think UFA Norcorss 14s will get a spot since they are in final 4 and finished 4th in Spring? Roswell Ambush and SAF were 1,2 and 3

What is the relationship between top u13 teams and RPL?
And what is "pre-ECNL"?

Roswell won Spring Athena A U14. Does UFA Norcross (won state cup bracket) or Roswell (won Athena A in spring) get the final rising U15s RPL spot. I think UFA Norcross does but can someone confirm

I've said it before and i'll say it again, a Georgia/Florida league would be crazy competition. will take a hit now with tophat in ecnl, but would be solid competitive soccer with reasonable travel.

Sorry--just overwhelmed by trying to figure it all out. And then figuring out where my kid fits into it all!

Yes, after Athena Fall Play..the top 2-4 teams will move into RPL East South (if its same as it was this year) And yes those Pre-ECNL teams will play ECNL in the fall of U14

Here's a (stupid) question: How does promotion/relegation work between Athena A and Premier League East, at U13/U14 ages? I hear there will be 6 teams in U14 PLE in the fall. What if you win Athena A in the Fall? Do you get promoted in the Spring? Does the last place PLE team drop back to Athena A?
Inquiring Mind wants to know.

I think the idea is for the RPL teams in First Division who are not performing to be dropped back to Athena/Classic and then top teams be promoted, and the same goes for the Premier Division, bottom gets dropped to 1st Div and top promoted to Premier. However I dont think it will happen in the spring, I think the changes will happen in the fall of each year. U13 is the exception to the rule because they have to be seeded in the fall to go to RPL in the spring, for the other age groups, they use last years info.

And to add another twist - what if the lowest ranked GA team isn't even in the bottom 3 or 4 of the PL East Division 1 (thanks Alabama)? Do they still get relegated? Seems like they didn't really think all of this through...

So you could conceivably wind up with no AL teams in if they keep finishing at the bottom and GA and FL teams finish in the top? How do they know whether to promote a GA team or a FL team? GA already has 4 teams in rising U14s from the Spring, do they add one, two or three more for Fall? Also, if you win PLE, where to you get promoted to?

No, you will always have at least 2 teams from each state wouldnt you??? but then again if thats the case then they would drop from each state and not overall standings?? Im not really sure how theyre gonna do it then... I believe each state applies for 4 spots and then they decide how many to give each state. for the 13s girls this year GA & FL each got 4 and AL only 2. On the boys side...each state got 4. The winner of PLE gets a spot in National League

I found a helpful file on the R3PL website that lists (I think) who has made it and what spots are still open. I guess at some point it is still subjective, kind of like deciding who gets into which bracket in the Fall for U13 Classic/Athena. Time to start horse trading. Maybe we can get some tips from FIFA ;-)

Yes thats the correct file...the reason no one has a straight answer is because this is the first year we have 2 division... So i guess we just wait and see :-)

Maybe I missed this somewhere, but which rising U15 girls teams will be in RPL in the fall? Tophat, UFA, NASA plus two or three more?
I wonder what A will look like. Most of Concorde's Athena A team seems to have gone to Norcross, GSA, Inter Atlanta, Concorde South, etc. Did they get enough talent at tryouts or did they disband? U15 seems to be the age when enough teams drop out that they drop from six divisions to five. There might be a lot of moving up.

So I assume all the first division teams have been populated and its only 8 teams. Heard rumors of them adding more games for some of the age groups, because 7 games, pardon my french is a JOKE!
Any ideas when they populated the 1st division teams from other states? Seems like SSAs rising 15s should have been premier east for winning state cup vs 1st division.
So is tophat really throwing their navy teams in RPL at each age group? I'm assuming they haave added to these teams with players who they have sold the "ecnl" farm system dream to.
