I'm not a concorde guy, but have to give props to the local product Savannah Jordan! From a gators site www.onlygators.com"Gators freshman forward Savannah Jordan has put together a sensational season already for Florida, scoring 12 goals in her first 13 games, a mark that surpasses even Wambach’s total goals through the same number of contests during her freshman season. Jordan has played so well, in fact, that the USWNT has added her to its under-18 roster for a training camp that takes place from Oct. 13-19 in Lakeland Ranch, FL. She is the only collegiate player invited to participate on the team" bio: www.gatorzone.com/soccer/bios.php?year=2013&player_id=102

That's a great accomplishment for a freshman. Nice to see local kids doing well!

And by the way, she will be playing at the UGA soccer complex this Thursday, Halloween, night. A tough sell even for my kids who love watching soccer. Might be going solo. But I am going.

Still hoping. Ended up with a sick soccer player this week which then changed the home landscape a bit. When I mentioned the game this morning I got a little push back from the spousal unit. One would have thought constructing the beautiful egg breakfast sandwiches with tomato and manchego on nice olive oil toasted ciabatta would have neutralized such reactions. Perhaps I have become too obvious.
Edit: I just realized my error. There was no pork fat involved.

What I can tell you is Georgia's keeper has made two major gaffes, leading to 2 goals, and Jordan made a nice run onto a thru ball and scored. That woman is powerful and fast. 3-0 Gators. Still in first half.
