Do folks care about the new stadium naming rights etc? ie the new Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Is this a story that you even click on and read?
I think I'll always call it the new georgia dome. Loved calling the dome "the dome".

I gave up on park names when they got rid of "Candlestick Park." If they can't fight it in California, no hope for the rest of us. I personally think it's a disgusting trend, but I'm over it;)

Ok I'm caught up now thanks to the AJC. And nah it'll still be "the Dome" but calling it the Merc would be pretty cool. Guess the Saints/Falcons games will become the battle for German engineering. Haha

Well, at least it isn't a lame sponsor, like "Ashley Madison Stadium" or something.

Wait. Then I might have been interested.......
Fortunately I can honestly say I had never even heard of that webpage until last week.

I wonder how many people who had a buddy sign their email up... as a prank... are caught up in it. I could see it happening. That'd stink.
As for MB stadium, means nothing to me. It'll probably have a new name in 7 years.

MB's naming rights is a 27 year contract. Pretty lucrative deal for the teams. Honestly at first I was annoyed, but then I just thought about the fact that it is just money going to the pockets of the sports teams. So it is a good thing.

I'd rather Mercedes-Benz over some obscure product that's unrecognizable.
Can't wait for games to start at the Benz! Or the Merc! Or the dome! Whatever! Ha just bring on the footy!

16-0 clean sweep!
The Chick-fi-la dome would have been dope! However, with NFL games on Sunday, would have been really odd to have the name on the dome and not be able to get a fresh chicken sandwich on game day.
