I'm just a distant observer here, so this is not intended as a swipe at AFU. But, whats going on? It is just early in the year but:
u14s - 0-3-1 u15s - 1-2-1 u16s - 0-4-0 u17s - 0-5-0 u18s - 0-1-2
Sorry if I entered this in wrong, but 1 win so far out of 5 teams? Do they play quality soccer? Is this just a statement of the quality of the other teams in the southeast?
or is really just to early to judge.

I don't follow their yearly stats, but I have always heard that they're usually at the bottom along with BUSA.

They have only played Orlando City and Jacksonville so far. Those two clubs for the most part are performing well in most age groups. Could be matchup problems. Hard to draw any conclusions as of yet. AFUs travel partner, GSA, is 6-13-2 against those same teams.

Well I personally hope they start to get some positive results because I know a handful of players on the rosters. AFU winning/playing well is good for georgia soccer, just like it is for tophat/concorde/gsa etc.

And now after playing probably the easiest pair in the conference this past weekend (Boca, West Florida), AFU are 9-16-6 and their travel partner GSA are 12-16-4. Things can change quickly.

I think it's interesting that AFU went 9-1 this weekend and GSA went 6-3-1. Was surprised to see GSA U14 lose to Boca.

Wow, pulled up boca's 15s scores. 8-0 and 9-0 to concorde 7-1 and 4-2 to bham 6-0 to tophat 8-0 to gsa
how are they that bad? they have conceded 47 goals in 8 games...... yikes loosing 8-0, 7-1, 6-0, 9-0 and 8-0 can't do much for the confidence. Imagine spending all that money $$ to come up to atlanta on a rainy weekend in october and losing like that!

That's what happens when you bring in a club to ECNL without a track record like Jax and TH. A friend who's daughter plays for that club told us that the 14s are the best team they have, but they are all struggling.

I think Sunrise Sting would have made for a more competitive entry into ECNL.
