We went to the Silverbacks game last night (very lackluster game from both sides). But I really enjoyed watching Freddy Adu, who had a decent game and was intense and involved (and picked up a yellow for dissent). But more than his game, I enjoyed the fact that he was listening to the crowd (I think they all do) and responding to them (they almost never do). He would look over and grin at funny chants, he gave one section a quick clap response, and he shook hands with one of the prominent fans after 'fighting' with him over a ball that had gone into the crowd.
He still plays the game well and seems like a genuinely nice guy, and brought real entertainment value to an otherwise fairly dull game.
