I thought I'd take a stab at picks for C/D East. It's a curiously lopsided division. I'll post some picks for A and B when I have some more time.
Saturday: GSA/Lady Freedom - GSA is working their way up the standings. I don't know much about the Lady Freedom team. I'll go with GSA 2 - Freedom 1. Norcross/NASA - This should be a close one. How about Norcross 1 - NASA 1. AFC/Chiefs - I think the Chiefs have won their only game of the season already. AFC 2 - Chiefs 0 Roswell/TH - Bad news for anyone who has to play Roswell. Roswell 12 - TH 0 CF White/TSC - TSC is playing well. Not sure if they or CGSA will take the 2nd spot. This CF team has a decent goalkeeper but the defense won't be able to handle TSC. CF 0 - TSC 6
Sunday: CGSA/Norcross - CGSA is also playing well. They've lost to Roswell and will have a close one with TSC but I think they'll win the rest. CGSA 4 - Norcross 1 Chiefs/GSA - Local rivalry. I wonder if this GSA team has any TYSA girls who will want to win against their neighbors. GSA 4 - Chiefs 0 Lady Freedom/Roswell - Lady Freedom will be the next victim. At least someone finally scored a goal against Roswell last weekend. Freedom 0 - Roswell 8

My daughter plays for NSA in this group. I hope you are correct in your predictions. Of course we'd rather take 2 victories but I'm a realist. The NSA/NASA game will be kinda close but if our girls play like last week we are in trouble. (Lost 4-3 to AFC who hadn't gotten a victory all season) Not sure what to expect on Sunday at CGSA. They are scoring well and held Roswell to I think 7 goals so that's a victory in itself.

Here's my guess for A and B:
A (6 for 9 last week - I underestimated Norcross; well done earning two ties) Saturday: Norcross 2 - NASA Premier 1 SSA 1 - NASA Elite 2 AFU 4 - DSC 0 - DSC hasn't been able to show that they belong in this division. This week will be just as difficult. UFA 1 - GSA 0 - At the beginning of the season I thought GSA could win this division but I think they've dug themselves too big of a hole.
Sunday: NASA Elite 1 - Tophat 2 - As siralex said last week, it's Tophat's division to lose. I think they're looking the strongest. NASA Premier 1 - SSA 3
B (7 for 11 last week) Saturday: UFA 1 - AFU 1 RYSA 1 - GSA 3 - I heard that GSA picked up a couple RYSA players this year. Should be a fun game. AFC 1 - Ambush 0 - Probably the top game in B this weekend. SSA 2 - CF South 1 Norcross 0 - Macon 2 Tophat 2 - CF North 0
Sunday: GSA 0 - Ambush 0 Inter 1 - Tophat 2

To put Roswell's dominance into perspective....14 girls on that team have scored goals this season. How is that even possible??? They also have the top goal scorer in the bracket as well.

Glad this pick did not work out. *snip* AFU 4 - DSC 0 - DSC hasn't been able to show that they belong in this division. This week will be just as difficult.

Glad this pick did not work out. *snip* AFU 4 - DSC 0 - DSC hasn't been able to show that they belong in this division. This week will be just as difficult. I am surprised but I'm glad to see DSC win one. They've had a rough season. Tophat has taken over the top spot with a big win over NASA Elite. I didn't think GSA would beat UFA but they shut them out. Another unexpected result... Lady Freedom tied Roswell in C/D East. I thought Roswell would win all their games easily. In B, there are three undefeated teams. Should be fun to watch the next few weeks!

Another unexpected result... Lady Freedom tied Roswell in C/D East. I thought Roswell would win all their games easily. Had to re-check that one today to make sure it wasn't a clerical error. Not sure what happened there. Maybe some guest players made the difference since Lady Freedom isn't all that strong. They are one of the better teams in the bracket but not nearly as dominating as Roswell or even in the same group as CGSA and TSC. Hey, either way, kudos to them for a great result!
