I know there were always posts on the other forum about various game results. I thought I would start a thread here regarding some rather unexpected game results, based on the expected difference in strength of the two teams involved. I thought I'd start off looking at a couple of the Classic 1U14B games from yesterday (10/26), both of which were ties: - How in the world did SSA Chelsea 00B Elite manage to tie the almost indestructible Storm SA 99 Boys Black team?
- Same question as the first one, except with Cherokee vs. GSA 00.
Feel free to respond directly about these two with commentary/editorial, or simply post about other strange or unexpected results.

Wow...that's a rough game for the other team! Both of my kids have been on that side of things during indoor seasons where they were the token rec team that played all the select clubs. Always a mercy rule win for the other team. My youngest even played against older boys one game. Not fun nor pretty.

fan wrote in another thread that Roswell Santos u13 girls tying Lady Freedom Elite 2-2 this past weekend in Athena u13 C/D East. I totally agree. They've been beating most clubs by over 10 goals a game and tied this team? My daughter's team played Lady Freedom the first game of the season, scored early and held it til Lady Freedom got two late goals to win 2-1. To be honest I thought we should've won that game. I wonder if there were some guest players involved that made a difference.
