What are the chances USSF would allow men's games in important international friendlies to be only broadcast on ESPN3?

Not sure how in this day and age, you can put together a tourney of the best teams in the world and not have Live over the air TV broadcast. The espn3 stream quality is never as good as a true HD broadcast.
For those keeping score at home,
US Soccer fans and US youth soccer players -- 0 US Soccer -- 10

For those keeping score at home, US Soccer fans and US youth soccer players -- 0 US Soccer -- 10 I don't enjoy watching the MNT play most of the time The USWNT I do, but when they're destroying other teams...I get bored and turn it off. Hopefully with this tournament it will be better competition and more entertaining games.

What are the chances USSF would allow men's games in important international friendlies to be only broadcast on ESPN3? If the men brought in as low and abysmal numbers as the women then yes. The money/ratings dictate everything. Just be happy that if you want to watch you have that option on ESPN3.

What are the chances USSF would allow men's games in important international friendlies to be only broadcast on ESPN3? the same chances that they would allow them to play in artificial turf...... Well, the men played in the GA Dome last Summer in the Gold Cup semi. That was artificial turf.

Usually when the men come play or any other pro team, they lay grass at the Dome.

Yeah I'm pretty sure they brought in grass for those games. That was one of the reasons why the women were pissed they had to deal with turf in the WWC but the men got special grass just for Gold Cup.

Too bad only 13,027 at Tampa's Raymond James Stadium for last nights game. Thursday game could have been the problem, but just amazes me the ATL can't get these games. (absence of a permanent grass surface could be the problem, but we know that US soccer doesn't care about women playing on turf)
Did anyone hear why Julie Johnston didn't start? Lloyd was AWOL and there was very little combination play with her and Morgan and Horan, the triangle didn't function as a triangle.
Neither team really created a lot of chances. Dunns shot was an absolute beauty.

That's like comparing a Falcons preseason game to the Super Bowl. Comparing USMNT World Cup match against Portugal (with CR7) that would help determine whether USMNT went to the knockout round to a Falcons preseason game is absolutely perfect.

That was one of the reasons why the women were pissed they had to deal with turf in the WWC but the men got special grass just for Gold Cup. I checked some video, and it certainly appears you are correct. My personal opinion, the artificial turf argument is a valid beef. While my family was at the games at the Dome, we were so far from the field, and there was so much going on around us, guess it did not make an impression in my head. Perhaps I should check things in the future instead of being so definitive!

I am sure glad the USMNT continues to financially support the lowly USWNT. What would the ladies do without that juggernaut of an outfit? USWNT a "cash cow" for USSF
