I am trying to come up with the fee per player to pay for State Cup. If you have to play "Play IN" games, how many are there and is it one day or two?
How many games in Round Robin?
How many games in Final Four weekend?
Please help, the amount of information on the website is dismal at best.

Hi there.
One play in game. This occurs the week before Memorial Day weekend. This game is a home game for higher seeded team. Win and move on.
Memorial Day weekend. Play one game per day. Saturday. Sunday. Monday. Win and move on. This weekend is in Columbus.
If you moved on, semis and finals are following Saturday and Sunday. If you lose Saturday you're eliminated.
So; you could play between 1 and 6 games in total. With the majority being 3 on Memorial Day weekend.
Hope this helps.

Is the final four definitely in Statesboro? The State Cup website recently changed it from Statesboro to tbd.

More information 1. Fee per team is $695. Assuming an 18 player roster that's $38.61 per player - round it up to $39 or $40. 2. Get your hotels NOW if you haven't yet. All the decent ones in Columbus book up fast - other alternative is Phoenix City Alabama just across the river but keep your watches on Eastern time - one year an entire team missed a game because all the smart phones adjusted to Central when they entered Alabama. Also depending on your game times, you COULD commute back and forth from metro Atlanta rather than doing the hotel thing. But it's a pain. 3. If you lose your play in game you do get some of your entry fee back.
Guaranteed three games - Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Winner in each group (there are four groups of four teams - 16 total per age group) moves on to final four the following weekend. Last year final four was in Statesboro - assumed it would be this year as well but maybe not. GA Soccer will secure the venues in plenty of time to let you plan.

Wait your clubs make you pay for State Cup fees?? Wow I kind of assumed all the other clubs paid those fees and players were only responsible for travel expenses.

I assumed it was treated like any other tournament? I will have to look at our budget and see if we pay for it

We definitely payed and pay.
I could see some smaller clubs pick up the tab when there isn't many teams attending, but it would be expensive for the big clubs. while it would be a great gesture, I doubt many do it.

It's included in the up front fees for Tournaments at our club. Most teams in Classic 1/Athena A and up assume State Cup is the end of season option and it's included in fees. For the play in teams, I can see collecting from parents. The OP was asking about a per player assumed cost so that may be the case - play in game not previously budgeted?

Excellent Information, thank you so much. We did D2 and were Finalists (lost Finals after overtime and 6 pks) so, we were looking to go State Cup. We hadn't previously budgeted for it, we didn't realize it was an option. But, coach wanted us to give it a go. I just needed basic info to pass along. Thanks a million, you guys are awesome!

Isn't there a rule that if you do the D2 you can't do state cup? I thought the players could play with other teams but the team can't enter
