Wanted to get thoughts on the Ralph Lundy camp. How were the campers experiences, how are the instructors, what soccer lessons do the kids learn, how are they divided up (based on skills/abilities etc). Do the kids train with the same group of kids throughout the week or are they moved around. Just looking for some feedback. Thanks.

My son did the Ralph Lundy camp in Carrollton when he was 9, 10, and 11. He absolutely loved it. They mix the teams up throughout the week so ability level is not an issue. Everyone gets better. They train from before dawn until the sun goes down, and the only issue is injuries and hygiene (I saw a number of kids waylaid by jock itch).
I think the experience was invaluable for him.

Can't speak for the younger aged camps as I've only worked the high school aged ones, but what I can say is that you will get your money's worth of soccer while you're there. It's literally an early morning session, back for breakfast, late morning session, lunch, afternoon session, dinner, and games at night.
Coach Lundy takes it as his personal responsibility to make sure your player gets as many touches on the ball as possible (and at the older camps you'll play against the college counselors from all the schools represented). Definitely a lot of bang for you buck as far as skill development at camps goes.
