You should modify the title of this thread: ECNL announces 5 new member clubs starting 2016-2017Three things to notice. First, three of these clubs are NWSL (Boston Breakers, Seattle Reign, Western New York Flash). Second, they start with the announcement that these clubs are making MULTIPLE YEAR commitments to the ECNL. I cannot imagine these clubs being able to manage both ECNL and GDAP. So there are now four NWSL clubs with ECNL membership (Orlando City). Third, Lavers explicitly mentions the collaboration between ECNL and NWSL. Hmmm. And the plot thickens...

gets very thick...... ECNL map and add in 2 clubs now to the south! link to mapDA map with the only expansion I know if is Atlanta United -- but this is map of u15/u16s so they would replace GA United - link to map

Clearly ECNL is not going to roll over. I like the fact these are multi-year agreements. However, it does not say these are exclusive agreements. The clubs could foreseeable have a team in both leagues...
