Vanished. Very strange. He/she feared for their safety. Was a great post. It was interesting I'll give you that. I've heard other versions from those still at NTH. Wish whomever hadn't deleted it. It would have made for good (sane rational non name calling) discussions unlike elsewhere I think everyone does agree that the club did not handle the communications or tryouts effectively. It should not have resulted in a team leaving and an entire age group affected. But seriously - "feared for safety"? That's a bit over the top. No one here is that level of crazy

I don't know much about the U15 NASA team but I can say with 100% certainty that Tophat was VERY clear that they would follow the birth year mandate and that no teams would be allowed to play up, they did make a 98/99 combo team as that team is comprised of HS Seniors, additionally no players would be allowed to play up unless they were a top National level player for competitive purposes, other than that the club communicated that to everyone, including at the composite NASA Tophat sessions that took place a few months ago. For someone to say otherwise is completely disingenuous, I cannot speak for the NASA side but I know from various emails sent to the parents from TC and TG that explained the above. Maybe the parents thought they would threaten to walk if the club didn't cave to their demands, as I said I'm not familiar with the U15 NASA team but I do know that TC or TG would never allow parents to "bully" them into any decision.

What happens to the srpl spot? Will the rpl team get the spot and so on? Will NTH lose or let the spot go? It's going to be interesting how this plays out. When are brackets released? Teams were notified last week if they are in RPL so the full listing should be published in the coming week.
