Has anyone paid any attention to MLS with the Euros wrapping up and Copa America going on this summer. I can't tell you anything about the MLS this year, who are the top teams, top players, sleeper clubs etc. I did hear Orlando city fired their coach.

I didn't even know that Orlando even had a MLS team. I've tried watching it but it just isn't up to par with any of the European leagues. They play slower with less skill and commit some real clumsy fouls. Oddly enough though, I love going to the Silverback games. Maybe it's the whole getting behind the home team thing and with Atlanta starting their MLS team next year it'll get me into it. Hope so!

I watch MLS fairly often. I hate that poor teams are basically incentivized (via draft picks) to lose games if the team isn't in the top half of the standings by mid season. I think this compromises the quality. Without the pressure on every team to perform, this league will never be better than "good".
I also think it's a shame that well supported and good performing teams like Chattanooga or Rochester will never have a chance to play in MLS. Sure, individual players will be able to make the leap but communities support TEAMS.
Regardless, it's better than watching baseball!

Is it worth the $600 for a season ticket to AU? That's half the cost of a Southampton Premier League season ticket (my team), but a similar price to a Reading (English Championship) season ticket (my Dad's team).
A friend of mine has bought 2 season tickets. When I asked him if he'd ever watched an MLS game, he said he hadn't.
I struggle to watch an MLS game all the way through, but may be that's because it's not our home team, and also as there is so much other soccer to watch.
