I have a request for you experienced soccer parents, managers:
I am managing an RPL team, and this year we have received profile requests from a number of college coaches. My understanding is that I need a one-pager with all the kids pics, details, contact info.
Please respond if you have a great template that I can follow. I can send you my email via PM. Thank you.
Sincerely,

There were a few at our games. Total roughly 12 thru out the weekend. Some came specifically to see certain players and a couple players received emails directly after matches from coaches expressing interest

There were plenty of college coaches around in Greenville this past weekend, look for the quiet ones with a funny looking stool thing and a notebook

OK maybe I wasn't looking in the right places then. Did you see them at all the age group games? I watched 00's and 01's and didn't notice coaches but then again I was paying more attention to the games. Usually they are pretty obvious, I agree!

I did ours in Excel. Column headings are
Jersey # Player Name Position Graduation Year GPA Contact Phone Contact Email
Put your team name and Coach with his/her contact info at the top. For most 2000's and above by now (Sept 1) all coaches can conact players directly. For younger ages us parent contact info.
You can customize this with your specific schedule by weekend/tournament. Don't make it too large of a font and leave room for caches to make notes by player name
A few coaches have commented that they like our format. It's concise and they have room for notes

No, did ask the coach whether there is one that he liked, but gave me enough of an idea of what he wanted. Don't think there's a club template.

Yes, there were definitely plenty of coaches in Greenville this past weekend (and very few at the Atlanta Cup due to the level of teams in older age groups). Most all of the fields we were watching had anywhere from 3-6 coaches on them each.
The most helpful data when I'm reading a player profile sheet at a showcase usually contains the following:
-Headshot photo -Name -Graduation Year -GPA/Test Score(s) -Contact Email/Phone -Committed (if committed)

Don't think there's a club template. Oh ok, Our club provided the template for U15 and up teams and they set up a recruiting website for the players as well. We are new to this so I just assumed everyone did it the same way

For my son, we used a 3-column format (front and back) where each player had a little box which included: Picture (on left side).. and then to the right of the picture: Name, # Height/Weight DOB/Graduation Year Phone Email space 4 bullets of accomplishments (some chose to include personal stuff like GPA, ODP details, Awards, accomplishments, etc).. it was up to each individual player.
Obviously, font was small.
We then folded the paper so it had a nice cover (team name, team picture, club logo, with coaches names/emails/phone numbers. When you opened it up, it had the players
Looked really nice and cost a bit to print, but everyone chipped in and looked very professional to pass out to the coaches.
