Weather permitting, standings will be finalized this weekend. There have been some great matches in both A and B. I think GA will be well represented in upcoming tourneys against strong out-of-state teams.
Athena A

UFA/Norcross - Norcross hasn't won many games but they've done a fine job keeping their opponent's score low. I think they'll finish the season strong. UFA 1-Norcross 1
AFU/Tophat - Should be the game of the weekend. AFU finally started playing well the past few weeks. Tophat should keep the #1 spot and should win this one. AFU 1 - TH 2
CF Elite/NASA Premier - CF Elite's defense has also done well. CF Elite 2 - NASA Premier 0
DSC/NASA Elite - I bet there have been some complaints that the AGC of U13 girls put his club's team in A and they only won one game. They did have a win over an inconsistent AFU team but I don't think they'll beat NASA Elite. DSC 0 - NASA Elite 2
GSA/Chiefs - The Chiefs need a win to possibly stay out of B. Unfortunately they have to play the #1 and #2 teams in their final two games. GSA has been on a roll but their weaker results earlier in the season kept them from winning A. GSA 4 - Chiefs 0
Sunday
Tophat/Chiefs - Will the Chiefs forward stick around next fall when she could be playing on any of the top teams nearby that have more depth than Chiefs (TH, GSA, CF, AFU)? I think TH will end their season with two wins and finish #1. TH 4 - Chiefs 1
Predictions for movement between A and B: Chiefs and DSC to B; AFC, GSA and Macon to A. That would give CF, NASA and GSA two teams each in A.

AFU/GSA - GSA will have to see how Macon does to see where they'll end up in the standings. I think they'll help themselves with a win in their final game. AFU 1 - GSA 2
CF N/CF S - Hard to predict the winner in this one since they're very similar in strength. I'll give a slight edge to North 1-0.
SSA/Norcross - I thought SSA would finish higher in the standings. A win could move them up a few spots. SSA 1 - Norcross 0
TH/RYSA - The top of B will be very tight. Tophat will be right up there maybe #3 or #4. TH 2 - RYSA 1
UFA/Rush - UFA 2 - Rush 1
AFC/Macon - Game of the weekend in B. I think Macon will shake up the standings a bit by winning this one. AFC 1 - Macon 2
Ambush/Inter - Two low-scoring but strong defensive teams. Ambush 1 - Inter 1
