I am curious about how many people may be doing winter workouts or skills sessions. Is your son or daughter doing winter workouts in preperation for spring? If so how many days a week?
Example: 04G - skills training - 2 days a week

At Tophat we are hosting Winter Trainings for Academy and Athena players the entire month of January.

My 04 son (goalkeeper) works on core training during the winter at home 4 days a week. Daily Push-ups, Sit-ups, Squats (no weights), Planks, on top of the two day indoor/futsal training. The core training during winter has helped a ton. 60 days of it shows results in mental confidence, speed, and overall strength. This prepares them for the Spring season and has an advantage leading up to tryouts.
