How do you know if you could end up playing a play-in game?

yikes, 24 teams, does that mean the 9th seed would have to play a play in game against the 24th seed? (is this right?) 9 vs 24 10 vs 23 11 vs 22 12 vs 21 13 vs 20 14 vs 19 15 vs 18 16 vs 17
Wow UFA-Norcross 01s won classic I in the fall and will have to play a play in game.

How do you know if you could end up playing a play-in game? It depends on how many teams entered in your group. State Cup round-robin groups are played with an even number of teams. Divisions for round-robin play will have: • 16 Teams • 12 Teams • 8 Teams • 4 Teams With the amount of teams that have entered, the only group not having play in games is Boys U14 georgiastatecup.com/photos/tid/STATEGA/user/How_play-in_games_are_determined.pdf

I think that is wrong, the top 10 seeds should be protected seeds and at some point, classic one teams that finish in the first half of the table shouldn't have to play a play in game etc. They just had their play in game, and won 12 of them to win the fall! I get and understand you have what 8 teams playing RPL etc, but at some point you have to give some value to the fall/standing/results etc.

They can see it as a warm up game before state cup. This is even more reason why RPL first division shouldn't exist, and if it didn't, some of those Classic 1 teams would probably be Classic 2

SSA doesn't have a boys team in this age group? I know they lost quite a few players to DA clubs, but still.

It does seem odd, maybe they lost players to HS and some are playing with the U16 team?? I'm not familiar with either of these teams

Are the projected game times that are posted pretty valid? Enough to plan hotel nights around?

For me, no. I'm in ATL, so I wait to see how early the games are. It's possible to drive from Atlanta on a daily basis.

Are the projected game times that are posted pretty valid? Enough to plan hotel nights around? as accurate as they can get? i mean if you are a U16G for example your 1st game can be at 8am or 1.30pm, that makes a difference if you need to stay Fri night or not. But for example if you are a U14B and your earliest time listed is 3.15pm, it wont be changed to the morning
