Congrats to one local player, he has probably been to almost every camp. Pretty impressive. One thing that stood out to me was this: "Pateadores goalkeeper Aaron Cervantes is the only player who will make his debut with the U-17 MNT this cycle after a strong start to his Academy season with Pateadores; the other 23 players on the roster have participated in either or both of the cycles’ previous camps" How is it possible with the DA in place and scouting, that only 1 new player was identified and made the u17 MNT team that hasn't been a camp before? link to soccerwire article: www.soccerwire.com/news/nt/international-men/u-s-u-17-mens-national-team-training-camp-roster-announced/

Just like the full USMNT, keep recycling the same players Do you think the coaches are being lazy and just going with a known commodity or do you think the pressure of "winning" may be having a negative impact on the coaches? So they are not as willing to take a flyer on an outlier player. They would rather go with the consensus pick, so that the talking pundits can't lay blame at their feet or put their heads on the chopping block?
