I'm I the only one that feels music should be constantly pumped on to the field during Georgia Soccer games? Since all the coaches don't want parents 'coaching' their kids from the sideline anyway, this would help drown out the parents. Also, soccer is such a free flowing and reactionary game, it just seems natural to have music to keep the players moving and engaged.

I have been thinking this for years! I’ve debated about investing in a wireless speaker to have my teams jam out too. I guess technically there’s no rules against it.

Depends... What is the music playing? It could be really annoying having to listen to crappy music for an entire match. Like having to listen to vuvuzelas...
Would it be current music or something that parents would listen to?

Would it be current music or something that parents would listen to? That’s part of the home field advantage! You could play twangie bad country if you’re out in the sticks, you could play some the “DEC”s greatest Rap if you’re in Decatur or Dekalb, you could play yuppie music if you’re Tophat or Concorde! (Haha just kidding) 😂

I guess I'm thinking of myself, LOL... just not a fan of very many of the "artists" kids listen to today. I speaking of stuff that is less mainstream and more "high school age" centric.

That makes he high school games so much fun hearing the music jamming during pre-game and it does differ from school to school and county to county.

The music at Atlanta United games is multi-generational and international (as was the music at the old Silverbacks games). That could be fun but I would think that playing the music non-stop during game play could be a little distracting. Plus, the players need to be able to hear themselves talking to each other!

I was in charge of the music mix for a faculty volleyball game, and ever since, I've been tempted to have my rec league team take the field to "Sirius" or "Sandstorm."

I never knew their names but recognized them immediately when I looked them up. My kid’s highlight reel music is “Tsunami”

If “Eye of the Tiger” isn’t played then you need to fired as DJ. That’s all I saying on that. 😜

Half the schools dont do their due diligence on pregame music, can't tell you how many times I hear songs with profanity and misogynistic lyrics....it happens at a lot of schools.
