And nope, that is not the surprise announcement coming out at the UFA Gala...FG

While it's most likely going to be addt'l parking and office space, I've held a theory that ATL UTD will be getting into the girl's game (I think sooner rather than later). The clinics/camps are open to girls. And now they have RDS where they are seeing a good number of girls. Other MLS clubs have girls' teams. It would not surprise me to see them go into either GDA or an SCCL/ECNL combo. Even if they make it pay-to-play, girls will still come.

Always heard (dating 3 years ago now) - that it was somebody donating the land to UFA and only asked their name be on the park.
The good ole gala, I'm still in the dark on this one -- my guess is -- new mascot -- The UFA fighting piranhas.

I hope they have consulted "soccer" people and don't spend millions on narrow turf/grass fields.....
should be interesting, 183 acre park, the plan was for "a quadrant" of soccer fields, with cricket overlay.
No idea what the current plan looks like and how much it has been scaled back....
the million dollar question -- what club is getting "ownership" of these fields....
