I absolutely think so... I called a friend and asked her how much she paid for her kids the last couple of years: I will highlight the U12 Fee Schedule 2016 - 2017 : $1,275 2017 - 2018 : $1,275 2018 - 2019 : $2,130 That is an almost $900 bump. I also see that the DA prices(fees) are not listed. I believe they were around $1995 the last couple of years, so I wonder what the prices for DA will be this year $2,500, $2,700, $3,000? I think academy fees(not DA) last year were $1915 Correct.

Now I understand why there are so many smaller clubs in Gwinnett, I imagine they charge less. GSA seems like a steal compared to UFA. I'm curious what AFU's fees look like.

Funny that the champion league is 400$ more than playing in Athena A or Classic 1 but lower level of competition. SCCL is most definitely higher level than Athena A/Classic 1. The debate is about SCCL vs. NPL and where clubs are slotting them in their hierarchy. Pay attention people. It varies based on the age group. Most are RPL/ATH-A/CL-I, with some divisions all RPL and some lower (for example, 2004 Boys will be a mix of CL-I/II teams).

SCCL is club-wide all-star team of mega clubs. It only varies as to whether or not it is their 2nd or 3rd club wide all-star team. This is quite different than a specific location’s 2nd or 3rd team. Any SCCL team will certainly be at a higher level than any of said club’s Classic or Athena teams. If you’re saying that a small club’s Classic I or Athena A team is more talented than it’s corresponding SCCL team I understand your position but I completely disagree. In the boys age group I’m familiar with only Concorde could combine a so called all star team that your talking about and end up with a high classic 1 level team. . UFA will certainly not have a higher than classic 1 level SCCL team out of Norcross(playing second fiddle to Forsyth NPL). NASA, GSA and SSA already put their second club-wide “all star”team in classic 1 this past fall with very poor results that are no where near the level of the smaller clubs top level teams. Again, it will totally depend on your gender and age group and I wouldn’t recommend drinking the kool-aid that’s being served up at the megas end of season meetings without doing your homework first. My guess is the level of play will be all over the place... but time will tell

They should make it free and offer the clubs big time compensation for players that make the US team. Paid for how? Whose pocket(s) do you want to pick to cover it? Presumably not yours, so whose? Exactly, the 'it should be free' for all mentality it tiring. Who's paying for all this free stuff ?

Loyalty discounts Anything to save a penny!

Multi kid discounts. Loyalty discounts Anything to save a penny! I like both the multi kid and loyalty discounts! Even if it was $50 off for each kid and maybe $50 off for every year you were at the same club. That could add up over a while. That could save me $250-350 right now. The price of an academy uniform for one kid

Is it me or have the UFA fees gone down on account of complaining? Seems like the link to the new fees for U9-U10 academy at $1500? I thought they were $2130 last week?

Nah I think it was that before. I remember that price because this year for our academy player we paid something closer to the 1100 price because he was on the second pool, but next year it will be the 1500. Brutal!

From what I have seen the 2004 SCCL boys are a healthy mix of players leaving DA because of consolidation of DA clubs, players leaving ECNL because of the high cost of travel and players leaving Classic I because they want a higher level of play...
