I absolutely think so... I called a friend and asked her how much she paid for her kids the last couple of years: I will highlight the U12 Fee Schedule 2016 - 2017 : $1,275 2017 - 2018 : $1,275 2018 - 2019 : $2,130 That is an almost $900 bump. I also see that the DA prices(fees) are not listed. I believe they were around $1995 the last couple of years, so I wonder what the prices for DA will be this year $2,500, $2,700, $3,000?

One of the other things they did this year was bump up training for U9 - U10 to 3 nights a week from 2 last year for 2nd level pool (last year the top pool was the only pool with 3 nights of training) which had a corresponding large jump in cost.

Funny that the champion league is 400$ more than playing in Athena A or Classic 1 but lower level of competition.

In thinking about it, it dawned on me that for theUFA players on both the NPL and SCCL, they have to help pay US Club Soccer for managing both leagues. I think that's where the additional $$$ are going.

Why do some of the SCCL clubs still have reference to SRPL/RPL and national leagues in their descriptions?

us soccer needs to buck up and make DA free to all that qualify. As long as soccer is just for rich white kids our national teams will suffer.

Do clubs offer aid for DA programs? Does US Soccer offer aid?

Do clubs offer aid for DA programs? Not sure about all but I would assume clubs must be similar on this. NTH offers need-based aid for anyone on any team, from rec to DA.

DA aid is through US Soccer. I'm not 100% certain if it covers monthly travel expenses though, anyone know?

They should make it free and offer the clubs big time compensation for players that make the US team.

That would spur some real development and training and curtail the fleecing.

Ya think! And that doesn't even cover the extra $365 you have to pay at UFA - Forsyth if you don't live in the county.

Do clubs offer aid for DA programs? At the DA level the aid is provided by US Soccer. It's supposed to cover "travel related expenses"

They should make it free and offer the clubs big time compensation for players that make the US team. So in the hierarchy of things the do offer compensation to the pro clubs who "house and train" national team players. In an unrelated "compensation" issue, US Soccer is trying to change their designation by FIFA that the US is a pay 2 play model so we can't partake in Solidarity Contributions. As an example if Andrew Carleton makes it through AU and on to a club abroad and gets traded for a $XX.XX transfer fee, Georgia United(defunct), SSA/UFA and all the local clubs he played for would get a cut of his transfer fee. Solidarity Contributions to Santos after the blockbuster Neymar transfer was in the neighborhood of $10+ million.
