I have really liked watching Steve Keiss from Blue Springs. No, we do not belong to that club, but I have had a kid coached by him outside of the club setup.

Wow - this is so subjective. If I had a dollar for every coach I liked who the parent next to me hated (and vice versa), I would be a wealthy person. Also, different coaches for different situations/scenarios make for an interesting conversation: boys vs girls, academy (youth) vs select vs DA, Styles (direct vs possession), winning vs losing, winning vs development, etc.
I tend to like the ones who focus on development at a younger age (as opposed to winning), are full-time coaches, played soccer at a high level, understand how to manage games, care about their players, and like video (hint, hint).
And I agree with Zizou, SK is a good coach!

let me first say, i know its just u10 but -- my sons team has now played norcross u10 boys team 2-3 times in the past year (6v6 and 8v8). That was a great coached team. Built everything from the back, possessed the ball with confidence, rarely if ever punted. TA coaches them. our coach can't stand playing them, because we know we will not get out of the group in tourney play. Just speaking from experience, its the best coached team in the age group. i've never watched his DA team play, but i have to assume its the same.

I know we're going on a tangent from original question, but IMO, coaches come and go, so I was always more interested in the club's philosophy around their style of play. Hopefully, the DOC has a curriculum that supports this philosophy and all coaches structure their practice/training accordingly.
As for style of play, sounds like I would like NSA. I tend to like teams that build from the back, possess with confidence, and promote skills development. I would not say all clubs drive this consistently across their programs.

My children play academy at Norcross, and they do have some great coaches. I would also add Alan Taylor and Rich Mealey to the list.
