What he means is that Omar is now the U16 coach for Atlanta United. Why would that be considered a bad thing for MOBA? One of their coaches was highly regarded enough to be offered a place coaching in the Atlanta United academy. Seems like a positive for the club just like when players are called in from area clubs to AU. Since this whole discussion seems to center on a MOBA/AFC beef, I have a hard time thinking any coach at AFC wouldn't have jumped at the same offer. I believe the issue is MOBA knew during tryouts that this coach was leaving and it was never told to the parents he wouldn't be their coach. It's clearly a great opportunity and the coach seems to be a good guy by all accounts that I can tell. But I know I would be more than upset if this happened to my kid's team.

Get out of here with that nonsense. Every part of the city has multiple clubs serving limited talent pools. What makes Peachtree City some special exception that shouldn't have competition? I'm glad the guys I know who coach at AFC don't spout this BS. Population of 35k not big enough to support 2 clubs. Root of the problem is rich guy unhappy with his kids development

I personally know kids from as far as southern douglasville area driving down. You have Newnan, Fayetteville, Union City, Sharpsburg, Whitesburg, etc., all to draw from. Now is there enough talent/draw to field multiple high level teams at most age groups at both clubs, maybe not. Now on the subject of the MOBA coach leaving which was known but not made public during tryouts...that's low class in my opinion.
