Look for the federation to adopt mandates mimicking Russian youth development and a new $40,000 Russian coaching course!

If Spain win look for USSF to start an all out search for 23 players who can complete backward and sideways passes. Koke is killing me. Mind numbing.

What a save!
How does Spain not have a striker!

How does Spain play Sergio and Koke for whole match? Stupid team selection. Koke refuses to play a penetrating pass. He needed to be replaced by Thiago. Or better yet start Thiago unless Thiago is not fit. Spain going conservative for 80 min cost them. Iniesta and Aspas made a difference. Isco was great. Different team after the subs. Play Thiago and they win that match.

That was a painful game to watch. I am all for possession play, but Spain's play was ridiculous. Lame. Boring. Eventually they were punished for their lack of creativity and killer instinct

Yeah, their lack of central attacking is atrocious. Argentina looked much the same, overall a very non-attacking approach. Lots of passing is great, but if you're not creating goal scoring opportunities, its a waste. The defensive + counter attack/speed approach beat both of them.
