You’re right; I heard the announcer say it after the game.. KE scored then Impact OG. Then NM scored a PK in stoppage. Thanks!

Too bad for a game to end that way, but the PK was deserved -- stupid foul in that moment. great job by jordan matthews, a kid who started the season with the 02 team and worked his way over to the full u17s squad if i'm not mistaken.

And just like that AU is down 2-1, a double red, both teams playing with 10 men

Just watched a few minutes - I think the reds were deserved. very hard tackle and dangerous. ended up getting out of hand in the last 5 minutes, with 2 goals coming late- 5-1 final

AU got behind and then got worn out chasing. Missed a penalty that could have reeled it back in, late in the 2nd half. All uphill from then on.
It’s very hard to defend a championship- congrats to this team for making it back to the final and staying hungry.
The Seattle player’s red card was a shocking lack of discipline. A hard foul just put your team up a man for 48 minutes and your reaction is to go after somebody right in front of the referee? Testosterone is a hell of a drug.

Seattle was unstoppable this year.
Here's their playoff run:
Beat Concorde Fire 4-1 (Concorde played man down 1/3 of game) Beat Sporting KC 6-1 Beat Pateadores 5-1 Beat Crew SC Academy 3-1 (quarterfinals) Beat Barca Academy 4-1 (semis) Beat Atlanta United 5-1 (finals)

Where was Jackson Conway?

Assuming Conway was injured, he didn't play in the semi final either.
I was impressed with Seattle, when they were down 1-0, they were absolutely dominating the game and missing chance after chance. They had a few very creative players and were fun to watch.
I'm a broken record on this one, but I've seen many other talented kids on both UFA and Concorde and even outside of DA that are just as talented as the Atlanta United kids.
I think the difference is Tony - dude can coach. In my opinion they don’t have any other coaches their any where near the same level as him.
