Classless youth doing stupid things. FIFA wiping yellows is stupid. He should be out for the final. Hopeful that England or Croatia can take it to France in the final.

Probably referring to this The tweet/post didnt show up. I watched the game and rewatched the last 10 minutes where France (entire team) was working to kill off the time. From my perspective Mbappe has been excellent the entire World Cup. He has all the qualities that make up a great player: elite footskills, elite speed, high soccer IQ, unselfish, and confident... |

There's time wasting and then there's taking the ball, walking away with it, putting it down, and starting to dribble away from people. Given the deliberateness and intention of the action, time wasted and poor sportsmanship shown...the ref should have issued consecutive yellows.
IMO the FIFA directive to "keep players in the game" in this WC is misguided. It hamstrings the referees and allows for garbage play like that of Colombia against England, Morocco against Spain and Switzerland against Neymar. Players should be AFRAID of fouling, it has repercussions. Hell, the Colombia fans believe the PK given for the obvious foul on Kane was bad. All 3 of the PK's given for fouls on Kane have been deserved.

Atlfutboldad, I'll have to disagree with you on this one. No one wants the tournament stars to have to sit out the final due to yellow card accumulation. Red card in previous match, sure, but not yellows. Additionally, I have no problem with a little delay of game gamesmanship. I was rooting for Belgium but I have no problem with what Mbappe did.
