Are ALL the SCCL Clubs paying the ref's directly or just my club?!!
Regardless ...
GONE are the days of unmarked, non-sequential bills, in specific denominations, in 3 separate envelopes, shadingly handed out mob style to the refs like a sideline drug deal gone bad !!!
THAT ALONE is WORTH THE PRICE OF SCCL ADMISSION!!!

Not sure what you're saying? SCCL referees have an obvious bias to the home club that isn't "secret" anymore? That's what it SOUNDS like you're saying.
Also, where can one find SCCL schedules by club/ team? All I see on the website is by fields...

Schedules are the schedules tab Just click schedules don’t click on the Fields subcategory under the schedules tab just click the word schedules events.gotsport.com/events/Default.aspx?EventID=65943Did not mean to imply ref bias ... Was complimenting my club for streamlining ref payment for the team managers and bringing some credibility to the payment process. Most of what makes SCCL appealing to me as a league are these nuances of a professionally run league and not just a money making con. |

I just hope they don't hit teams up to pay for refs.
This was something that was inconsistent with RPL, some teams would have to collect and pay ref fees, and for others the clubs took care of it. I won't name names...

Payment for the SCCL event this weekend hosted by SSA will be through GotPay, part of the GameOfficials web site. I always thought it was weird to receive cash at the field from the home team. Made for some awkward transactions if the game hadn't gone well...

Good to hear things seem to be streamlined and well run at a pretty high level. Georgia soccer has a year to get things streamlined, but likely they're going to lose most of the best clubs to US Club entirely.
